There’s something I’m a little confused on. It was mentioned that this stand-alone version of DG was based on Mongoose’s OGL game, which is d20, but it was later mentioned that the game was a d100 system like BRP. Was the OGL converted from d20 to d100 or is there some other kind of rules hack going on? And will this new DG game engine also be released under an OGL?

Mongoose did the same with the d100 BRP rules when they published RuneQuest. We don’t have plans to make DG open source other than the elements that are already OGL.

Ah, thank you. The references online I could find all referred to their d20 being open. I may have to look for their Runequest book.

I listened to this whole thing and at no point did any cats emerge from a pod, nor did any cats have pods, nor were there people putting cats in pods. WTF?

There was a distinct lack of Canadian content, too. No M-EPIC, no bacon, no maple syrup, no Ithaqua even. What gives?
