The Unspeakable Oath needs LARP playtesters: “Il Palazzo”

The palace of Duke Fabrizio Abbattista is a beautiful edifice built on the coastal highway (the Via Posillippo) just west of Naples, not far from the Capo Posillippo. It commands a gorgeous view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and beyond that the Mediterranean. The Duke and Duchess are among the leading nobles of Naples, and are well known as wealthy patrons of the Church, the arts, the sciences and civic works.

Tonight, they have invited a small group of luminaries to the palace for a reception honoring the coming operatic debut of Vitale D’Alisa, a “musico” — a young man castrated to preserve his magnificently high and beautiful singing voice. Additionally, the Duke has thrown open the doors to his personal collection of oddities and artifacts, including certain rarities that he has only recently acquired.

Il Palazzo is an extravagant Cthulhu Mythos LARP (live action role playing) scenario by Unspeakable Oath veteran Richard Becker. It needs playtesters!

Live action games have very particular needs, and we need LARP veterans who can review the manuscript and play out the scenario with their friends, sending us detailed notes so we can make Il Palazzo perfect.

If you’re a LARP veteran and you’d like to participate, please get in touch with me here or by email to shane.ivey@gmail.com. And please help us spread the word to LARP players who might be interested.

Playtesters will receive the final PDF release free with our thanks and will receive credit in the final publication. In addition, each playtest host who stages the scenario for a group and sends detailed feedback on the required schedule will receive a copy of the printed product free when it’s released.

Intrigue, death and horror await.  Please sign up now.
