I am a longtime fan of TUO and I look forward to the new incarnation. Can you put me on a mailing list or notify me when the first issue is ready (for ordering, that is)?

Please don’t take offense, but to be blunt about it: how many UO eBooks for iPad/Kindle do you expect to sell, when they cost 2 USD more than the pdf, and the latter can be natively read by the iPad (I don’t know about the Kindle, but I think it’s capable too)?
Just curious as to the reason of the price difference…

We’ve updated the price. The digital version will be the same price in ePub (Kindle, etc.) as in PDF.

Are there plans or the ability to order back issues?

You can get issue 16/17 at We may look into doing a compilation of material from the other back issues, but reprinting them in their entirety is troublesome because Pagan secured only first printing rights with the authors and artists. –Shane Ivey

Soon. We’re working on it now.

When you say ePub, are you serious? I’m a nook owner and wouldn’t mind reading the mag on it.

We’re serious, although it’s taken forever to get the ePub format just right so we can release it across all the main platforms at once. We’re working on what I hope will be the last revision for TUO 18’s ePub release, then 19 should follow pretty quickly and others as they come out.

Read about this magazine while looking up Delta Green, hopped on the kindle store to preview it, and couldn’t locate it.

When do you plan on releasing it?

Um — soon. I have the files in ePub but they need a little tweaking to correct some glitches that came up. Getting around to it is taking longer than the work likely will.

Sorry but it has been more than a year since you said UO would be available for the Kindle… So will it be really available or what?

    • February 20, 2012 at 1:17 pm

Yes but I don’t have a firm date, sorry. Other things keep jumping in front of that.
